Hi,
I’ve tesla screen android headunit which I bought from Ossuret store on Aliexpress. It’s S8 headunit hawai based.
I have disconnected the socket from Mic and Reset board couple weeks ago to be use only external mic and then installed back my headunit to car. I didn’t demage anything during this process. I am not electrician but quite good on this kind of stuffs. My touchscreen stopped working when i install back headunit to car so then i connect back that socket , i thought it maybe completes some circuit but didn’t solve my issue.
I had some issues with Android Auto as well so got new firmwares from seller and installed them on the device so which means i did clean installation and factory reset but that also didn’t help.
However I was talking with the seller and he sent me new touch panel and I replaced it today. I was thinking it was touch panel issue until today but my touchscreen still didn’t work after i replace it.
I’ve tried that tapping with 5 fingers to get in calibration menu but didn’t work so I started calibration from factory settings by using mouse but I am still not able to touch to dots on calibration.
I checked all connections with multimeter so it’s not connection issue as well.
Can you guys give me some ideas how can i diagnose this issue further please?
